That ultracurve is multi band parametric EQ - noise it generates is totally unintentional. You see those in clubs to "fix" frequency response of PA speakers. That's what it is used in this room too, I'd quess.
We have those at work, we have 200k€ worth of very special audio related measurement gear in a acoustic space worth 1m€, I get pimples from the thought that 100€ Behringer Sh*te is supposed to be involved. and I've even proven with measurements it sucks. It's SNR is about -70 - -80dB, and it works very strangely at lower half of that, efficiently cutting the usable area to 40dB.
(I am a audio design engineer - work with audio quality of electronic multimedia device)
Look, no offence if someone in this forum own one, it is totally another thing now when we talk about shoe string studios like one in my home, that Behringer might find it's usage in my music, and rest of my gear is only little better - but that desk in original picture looks like 200k€ Pro Tools Setup or Large digital Yamaha desk to me.

cheers for that helpfull feedback,..unfortunatly i own Behringer Truth speakers,..they broke the day i got em home,..and i have a graph eq,..that hasen't broken yet,..and i had a behriger mixer that use to give me problem's....not worth it,..save and get better gear.

try selling behringer shit after , nobody wants it. quality stuff you can turn around and sell for more money then yuo baught it for if yuo keep it right. and unlike beh it keeps longer too.
was a mixing board or something that beh ripped off so much they accidently had the mackie logo on the curcuit board.
