Yeah most definetly. I am fuckin with 2 furbies, a Teddy Rox, and a plasma kids gun to mess with. My dad also got me a developer kit for christmas, so Im gonna to try and build a 8bit synth, but Im not gonna start messing with that until I get the circuit bending down.

this may be true, but that doesnt mean that whatever is shown in the video cant be possible. there are basic principles of sound that do work, and everything in that video is valid... and considering the mic being used its 100% possible. dillinja makes bass sounds with his mouth, so you cant say that this is something they havent done.
that mic is powerful enough to full record the sounds directly infront of it, along with any sound in the background such as the pa speaker. all in which will affect the recording of the bass sound... and from there it can be further processed in cubase, or whatever their using..

Maybe this is the whole point. I'm sure that what they're showing is possible, and maybe they have used it, and maybe they haven't. I think the point is that it shows that with a little imagination, sounds can come from anything and anywhere. But I am sure they get asked a million times how to get their bass tones because they sound so different. People want to know how to make this unique sound so they can imitate it and make it less unique?! That, to me cheapens the whole thing, its like knowing how a magic trick is done. IMO it's more worth taking inspiration from the video rather than imitating it. See if you can find your own way of getting cool bass sounds from random objects.

i heard, simillar experimantel technics have been used in other, even comercial productions for a long time now. i guess you can get wicked results by sampling your own stuff |

i second this... its about being creative... and i think theyre getting across that you can do just about anything to get different bass sounds... whether this vid is fake or not.. thats not the point...the point is what theyre doing is something that is valid and can work... teebe and calyx run shit through guitar pedals, and then its even futher processed...
