With only 26 years of age, though for a couple of years already, Raw.full is Austria's most global booked drumandbass DJ.
In an article about the Austrian Drumandbass scene, the famous Knowledge Magazine wrote: "... he's Austria's equivalent of Andy C."
In 2001 D.kay & him started the Ill.skillz project and since 2003 they successfully run their very own record label Ill.skillz_recordings worldwide, distributed through S.T. Holdings LTD.
Together they got quite a few released tunes under their belts. Just to refresh your memory: In may 2001 they've released their first 12" in the UK under the disguise of X-Factor on X-factor Records (a sub-label of Loxy's Cylon Recordings), tunes on Metalheadz, Virus, Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow, Commercial Suicide, Universal Music Austria (a short excursion into breakbeat) - and many more have followed since.
Having released some of their own tunes on Ill.skillz_recordings, they got some hot collaborations and remixes going on by the likes of Calyx, Dom & Roland, Klute, Concord Dawn and Marcus Intalex.
Aside from studying Music Management, Raw.full is promoting bi-monthly Saturday parties (FUTURE BEATZ) at the well known Vienna Flex - and since October 2004, D.kay & him are running a weekly club Thursdays (BEAT IT) as well.
They have released tracks on the most important Drum and Bass labels like Metalheadz and Virus, are Austria's most booked dnb DJs, run labels and to top it all off, host the popular BEAT IT club night at Vienna's Flex: ill.skillz.
Originally ill.skillz set out as a producer duo, namely D.kay and Raw.full. These two don't require any more introduction as they have conquered the Drum and Bass world by storm and unless you where living in a cave, you have heard of them. With numerous tracks and remixes under their belt, D.kay and Raw.full look back on quite a long history and more than one success in the recording industry. Having worked for and with dnb legends such as Goldie and Ed Rush & Optical amongst others, djing up and down the countries and making sure of a steady flow of releases on their label, they are an established landmark in the international dnb scene.
Some mainstream journalists think Drum and Bass is dead or maybe just semi-alive. But they haven't looked close enough ...
In Vienna's Flex, the cities most prolific club, you can feel the pulse of the drum and bass scene. And a strong one it is! Hosted by dnb wonderboys D.kay and Raw.full, BEAT IT has quickly become a popular and very busy hangout for the local scene and party-goers alike.
With an international DJ line up and a wide range of home grown talent, BEAT IT has much to offer and easily puts some London club nights to shame. A list DJs such as DJ Zinc, Fabio, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Asian Dub Foundation Soundsystem and many more are touching down regularly for an intense dnb session on Thursday. D.kay and Raw.full can also be found behind the decks, nearly your only chance to catch these two highly acclaimed DJs and producers in their hometown.
One thing is for sure: returning to Flex every Thursday will keep you up to date with Drum and Bass and will supply you with crazy party vibes.
