Found this Refill unpacker on Edgey's forum. I believe it works, but don't know for sure because it is PC only Mad

its means you can save the files inside the refill for use in other programs. take what you want out of the refill delete the rest. simple. Smile

I decided to go through my most used refills to extract the rex's etc so i can use them in other programs but when i try to use it a warning saying "invalid pointer operation" then it crashes ??

Can anyone shed some light on to why its doing this and how to get round it?

it works but it doesnt work for all refills... some it does some it doesnt.

I tried it but it still wouldnt work properly Frown

I need some of the rex's badly and i cant be arsed to export them all as audio then chop them all up again.......blag

1. you must be using Reason 3.0 or higher

2. place the .exe in the same directory as the orkester refill.

taken directly from the how to file that comes with the unpacker.

that i got from this link

btw im using XP SP2 and reason 4.0

you need it in the same folder as reason.exe since it uses its engine to unpack the refills. which is the same folder as orkester btw

It wasn't working for me as iv moved all my refills to my audio/sample drive

i said put it in the propellerheads folder Wink

It just helps you to do something you could do through audio export anyway... and no one is making extra money from it, you still need Reason on your machine.
Not such a big deal I guess.
