finished this one pretty fast. my first tune where most stuff is done in ableton. also trying some new things, like using a hardcore kick etc.

y0... fukn cool intro.. wasnt feelin the synth to start of with... but then it progresses with the cool pads and drums...
the bassline is something different... the kicks bein used are cool
drops in alright... sounding heafty... the reece is dope. got the cynik sound trademark all over it. the break down is cool with the glitchin half step action. sounding very sinister... sounds like genetic reconstruction lol

KIcks right in with the synth line. Its a pretty funky little number, sound is a little cheep sounding IMO. Could do with a little more interest, some modulation perhaps.
Seems to just kinda fade out and restart on a seperate idea. Wierd, but kinda cool, although its taken 2 minutes to get here.
Synth line building up, again IMO the sounds are a little cheep sounding. Distorted kick is nice, but a little flabby, Building up nicely, the drum rolls under neith the kick sound pretty messy, you should lose them, or mirror them with the distorted kick. Drops in nicely. Theres a lot going on in here, maybe too much, there's the stepping bass undernieth the kick drum bass and it really looses its definition because of this. Its got a really interesting rythm, but because of the undefined kicks it kinda swamps about a mix, kinda hard to follow the grove that much, It might be worth simplifying the first few patterns just to really define the rythms, and then gradually building on them.
Theres at section at about 3 mins where it drops out and comes back in pretty quickly with a similar sort of pattern. I think the distroted kick sound is far too quiet, and for the best part everything sounds straight down the centre (although Im listening on not the worlds greatest speakers) which might be why nothing is coming through very clearly. I think for this it might be easier to follow without the stepping bass line and a louder kick.
Is this stepping bass line going right through the track?
Back in with the half time. The drums sound nice in this bit, kinda industrial, no stepping bass sounds a lot clerer in the bass end. The really fast high drill gets kinda annoying after a bit, but I like these drums.
This could be a really solid tune, the bass needs to be tightened up a whole lot. The kicks really dont come through clear enough, prolly just my opinion, but I like kicks to come through and punch me in the chest. Same with the snare, maybe a litlle compressio9n, just to give more crack. The structure is really solid, although, the first section sounds kinda unrelated to everything else. The thought process is really apparent in this tune. You can tell how and when the idea evolved, rather than sounding like a crafted tune.

Not too sure about that intro, it reminds me of the closing cerominies on a game when I was a little kid called Summer Games on my commodore 64
It also seems a little too 80s synthpop for your tune for me, but I think you can still make it work eventually. Maybe a bot less LoFi 80s type synths? not sure.
I do like it when the drums start. I especially like that distorted gabba type kick you got going there. Nice drum patterns, they keep me interested.
I also like many of the fx you have going, they add a lot of interest.
Cool song, I just wish it got me moving a little more; seems like after 4:00 it stays on that slow break a bit too long, and doesn't quite get me back into it. I'd add another drop into the main break again.
Cool end sounds. I do like the outro.

Damn havent reviewed one of your tunes in awhile. So here we go. Im liking the synth like sounds in the intro, once the underlayin break comes in it sounds way to muddy, and also throws off the intro sounds. Im loving the downtempoish breakdown, maybe you should make a dt version of this. Anyways, cool lil bassy apreg coming in. Now the drop, im not really sure about the breaks with the sounds you got going. But that break is something fuggin serious tho, dig that the most. i dunno about this one, I like all the sounds, Im just not really sure if they go together, atleast not in my ears. But if you dont finish this track, you gotta do something with the main break, cause that shit is rockin! RespeKt!

that beat is supposed to sound like that, I got a couple of tunes swaying to some sort of slow menacing ambient with that kind of beats all the way

Yo man,
Certainly diggin the intro, like the spacy feeling it has, nice transfer to the hiphop-kinda beat, after this part, I'm kinda confused, like what's the real track, very cool parts the first 2, part with hardcore kick I think's a bit too heavy in the beginning when there is just the synth sound, with benders comin it starts getting better but it needs to be better EQ-ed I think, 2step bassline is very nice, original to bring in a track!
Overall, cool track although with the breakdown I didn't had the reflex of bouncing my head to it, straighten it out and it might be way cooler!
Long time ago I posted here, been busy with hiphopkinda stuff but later on I'll make a new track!
