I'm buying some new decks with my tax returns coming up and it's either the MK5's or the Vestax PDX's..the 2300 pro's look really sick...can't find many customer reviews for them though...anyone out there got some they can comment on? i know the technics are what everyone says are the best yada yada yada but im looking for something different what can i sayWink ...i've played on a crapload of technics..some in good condition..some in horrid but they are always decent....but want to try something else..

comments about either or MUCH apreciated. Big Grin

I think the reason everyone says technics are the best decks is because the only other decks they ever used where some crap like JB or an old gemini model. The truth is there are now decks that can compete with technics, and the pdx 2300 is definately one of them. Best advice I can give you is to try them out and see which one you like best.

btw: can someone of the mods move this to the dj gear forum?

technics are great and do the job perfect every time.vestax pdx tables are the shit ive played on a triple setup with them.the technics will have all sorts of parts you can by off of the web.im not sure how easy it is to get spare parts for the pdx though.the value in the pdx is obviously all the cool knobs and shit, but if you use cdjs you can just as easily do reverse on them.i think i would have to go with the techs man just cuz i know i could upgrade/fix them with the greatest of ease.

I would have to say Tec's too, and only because I know u will fully get ur money out of them in the long run. I know a cat who has a 10yr old set that still work like they day they were bought. I have fucked around on a set of pdx's and they are dope but it was hard for me to get used to the height level of them. I guess its all about preference tho
