Ok, basically im under quite a lot of stress right now, and not feeling very musically inspired as a result. I've always found it kinda relaxing making tracks purely using drums and percussion, no fancy synths or anything... kinda like tribal drumming on a sequencer :p

I'm looking for some samples of really odd drums/percussion... perhaps i should explain :p
Ok for example, on the Reason factory sample bank for the nn-xt sampler they have quite a lot of percussion instruments, like the tabla, the talking drum, weird gongs, something called an Udu i think, various bongoes, and just really quite unique sounding drums and percussion.

just wondering if any of you guys know of anywhere i can find some interesting samples like this? would be much appreciated Smile will post the track here afterwards if it turns out good Smile

There is a pack of tribal samples on the FTP server, and there are some tribal drums there, try it.

Edit:Native american sample pack, something like that.

PS I love tribal percussions. What do you work in? We can make something together (tribalistic) if you want (Not dnb, but something else) Wink
