yes,yes,well,i got hooked up wiv optikal assasin threw the dnb.be pages and he wanted to refix stakeout,which i thought would be cool,and in return he let me do a little refix of his 2005 tune the beast,its got a simple techy feel to it,any way c what you guys think,gotta give massive props to the man optikal assasin for the samps and that ,any way peace to da dnb.be massive.one love
I like the intro alot. The techstep is in full. I like the first min or so, then it gets a lil too repeatitive. Try and fill the gaps of the main break with some sort of shaker or I actually have the perfect lil break I think would fit perfect in between. Hit me up with a PM, and Ill set u up. Also, never heard the orginal but to give it ur own touch, try doing some drop off edits, and changing the arrangment of the bass a lil, like like pauses in betweem, and what not. Just ideas.
not bad bruvs, i like how switched that shit up from the original but kept to the original sounds. it's pretty cool hearing soo many different takes on this shit, always gives me ideas of going back and remixing it myself lol. big ups for the remix and thanks for lettin' me hit the steakout! respeckts...
Yea really liking this one and diggin the techy take on ur tune Optikal. This tune would be great for some MCing over the top of it. A couple of minor points are that it needs a few changeups, mini-breaks, drums arrangements and stuff but it is only minor stuff.
