looking forward, looks like a synth loaded with possibilities (think albino, absynth,...), which is good, cuz the synths in reason are fun to play with, but i think they lack in sound, and flexibility (some routing options aren't exactly complete)
this one looks like an ugly buzzer, but hey, combinator ackdrops are customizable, maybe this one will be aswell.. (i'm afraid not)
curious what other upgrades reason4 will get

why do they bother. hmmmm now do i use reaktor for that filthy saw lead im after or reason. it woukd b reaktor everytime
they should start with some basic upgrades like adding a 'mix stereo down to mono' export option.
adding vst support would also make much more sense. maybe i should check out fruity

you might be right jimmy. tbh if i could afford a ton of hardware (oooh i dunno a 48 output soundcard,a TLA valve desk and a shit ton of fx for every channel) i might use just reason as my sequencer. but id still need a vst host in order to sample some decent synths.
i just dont see the point in adding another synth that everyones gonna moan about after two weeks of realising its shit. Theres a ton of really small basic things they could add which would make it a better piece of kit. i hate to say it but it looks like its even falling behind fruity
