Please check out my new track 'the end (I NEED NEW EQUIPMENT)', post your comments here and vote for it!!!

well yeah... was working on this... but i'm tired of my shitty equipment and i'm thinking of upgrading my setup... like getting a new computer.. seeing this one gets overheated every time i start fruityloops... also when my song is progressing it starts clipping when i play it in fruity, so i allways have to export it to mp3... wich kinda takes forever, and is very annoying. on top of that i need a beter program then fruity... cuznomatter what i do it keeps on souding plastic... but untill i get the cash for me afford better equipment i geuss i'm stuck on fruity... wich also kinda sucks... well this is my excuse for it... but i hope i can get some usefull info regarding the tune...

Hi Lead, I am checking it out now.

I think some parts are too quiet compared to the rest. Maybe a little bit of compression you should use on the master output.

As I am listening to this I hear allot of thought.

If you use a compressor remember to reduce the amount of reverb, also, because it can make quiet parts louder and that one synth in there has pleanty of reverb already, as-is.

How long have you been making music for?

And what the heck, song does not end at 7 minutes+, some long silence there, was that by accident?

15MB file size, not exactly small, but I have a DSL internet connection, so I downloaded.

Your song sounds quite melody-oriented. I like that.

I am wanting to see a bit more variety in your song here, that's all, plus, fix the volume levels. Other than that, I say you have done a very decent job!

I give the track 4.5/10 as-is,
but, I'd give the track a 7.5/10 if the volume levels were balanced out more, so that I could also hear the quiet parst without the loud parts nailing me.

I'm looking forward to hearing the next version. Take your time and I think you've done well. ^_^

[edit]

I also think that your song will either sound "plastic" or not "plastic" depending upon what effects, synths and samples you use, and NOT depending upon what sequencer you use.

I wish you the best for the new computer. I got my new Acer for $600, a while ago, and it's not exactly fast but it's more than enough for FL. I don't use allot of big complex synths, though.
