Fl doesn't alter the sound in any way whatsoever so it sounds as good as the sounds used or the person using it...

i use cubase sx3.0, pro tools at work, and logic at work... haha yeaaah i know...
reason i use sometimes but i dont like the synths in it too much anymore.. after a while i got bored with it... the only reason i work with logic is cuz thats what they use where i work for post production and wel pro tools is the industry standard for recording so watever.

I think Reason is even easier to learn as you can find 100% working tutorials much easier because there are no plugins or anything.

Once you are used to using VST's though you might feel in prison when using Reason Big Grin .

Now on FL7 (Finally bought the stuff, well worth it). Some things are still pretty difficult in FL, for example, if you made a lot of automation in a track I find it hard to "debug" as you lose the overview. I leave automation to the very last part of production and keep it low level. Reason indicates very well what is being affected by automation etc...

ableton is better i think for automation.. no limits.. and the automation lane is right on top of the track lane... represented by a BIG RED LINE.. done. Smile

lol cubase sx 3 sometimes re wire reason for its features and same wiv fruity. I use a professional industry standard sequencer because it allows me to benefit from a wicked audio engine, professional features which I am used to and work with my hardware and also I can run professional VSTs like waves and Massive.

Fruity is for kids. Reason aint much better - but then again our sound is mainly liked by a yoot following so it works.

Logic 5.5 on pc is good but cubase sx 3 pisses allllll over it. Logic has come along long way since 5.5 u shud check out 7 on a mac - cubase sx 3 is the only sequncer on pc i know off that is a rival. Drummer
