NOt quite basic enough for me still though unfortunately. Someone told me to be really conscientious with my levels. So whenever I saw red, I turned it down. This obviousy had a knock on effect on other stuff which had to be turned down so it was in proportion, and sometimes, the only way to stop the red was pretty much to turn it off.
