Please check out my new track 'Room of War' and post your comments here!!!

Ok, so heres the new tune. There are a few problems, with the levels as usual. The compression is making the volume of the drums jump up and down in places. This is the last tune I'm going to write using compression on drums.

well here we go.... a lite entry.. i like the bounciness of the drums in the intro it sounds like there is hella compression on em tho...

Bigup Bigup

your drop was nice a little unexpected but nice nonetheless...

wheres your bass line??? never mind there it is.. couldnt feel it even with my foot on the sub..

i think you need to break the thing up a little bit more cause after a couple of minutes im really starting to get bored with it,,,,

this is a cool track deserves more recognition, cos the tune is catchy and the drum work is noce, though i always disllike loop based stuff. i would agree abou tthe bass, its there when i play it well loud, buut not enough, should be shaking the windows at this decibel.

good vox, full on track with nice memorable riff, just needs more form ie structure, and more bass, and also the high on the drums needs lowering.

good listen tho Smile

fucking amazing sample for this track.

don't use compression on drums, unless multiband, but even then, compression should be used on just one instrumnet, if you must! so a kick and a snare are 2 different types of drums.

there's a thing called transient sounds, that snares and hi-hats and shit have, when yuo comrpess them too much it get's rid of the transient. transient is that MOMENTAILY volume, that gies drums the individual dynamics.

the vocals, need to be eq'd. basicly boost a point between 3.5khz and 5khz that makes them sound the loudest and prodmient. it's hard to do, but it will still help make them stick out int he track without overbearing the track.

maybe try to cut the bass below 30hz - 50hz to make the sub seem more substantial... or boost the bassline at about 60hz- 80hz, below the basskick idealy.

also try to use the amen originally by layering a few snares onto the snare of the amen, to make that snare stick out. i suggest doing it only at the drops. helps make the drop more apperant, and it just hleps with the beat. this is a good idea for every song...

but yea, the rest is nice, maybe a bit more varieation near the end of the track.

Intro bassline reminds me of surf music from the 60's, not the sound, just the melody. Drums are kinda big beat style. That sample that says "you can't fight in here...this is a war room" cracks me up! Nice one... We actually have something called a "War Room" used for planning operations (I am in the Army BTW) Overall good track a little repetitive at times, but it has something that kinda sticks in yer head.
