I asked Femke to design a shirt, this is what she came up with!
I've been asking around for prices to have them printed, the online shops have some advantages (no upfront payment needed, big choice including thongs, slipmats, caps and coffee mugs, no hassle with the shipping and stuff) but the prices are really high to start off with, and they add shipping costs to that so the price of a simple t-shirt would be something like 30 euro in europe, or well over 40 euro overseas with only 1.5 euro profit for each shirt sold
Having them printed saves a lot on the cost of the t-shirts themselves, and I found a shop which has an enormous range. They have 50+ different models of t-shirts and can even make fleece sweaters and polar snowboarding jackets
The big problem is the shipping, I asked some prices and it's ridiculously expensive to send stuff overseas. Seems like the local belgian post office would be the cheapest option, I can send packages up to 5kg to the USA for 26 euro with them. I also checked the price with UPS but that would be over 95 euro to ship a single t-shirt 
For Belgium the postal costs would be less than 5 euro, holland 13 euro. The rest of europe and the USA are expensive... 26 euro, Canada and the rest of the world 52 euro
The only workable solution to get them overseas is to find somebody in the states who can order like 25+ shirts at once and sell them locally for a reasonable price and make some profit on it.

I'll still get one for 25 euros+. Perhaps another option would be if you charged for the official design which could then be sent as an E-mail. It'd then be up to the buyer to get it printed on whatever they want. The cost would be tiny. You wouldnt need to charge much for the design as the cost would be minimal since there is no postage to pay. A lot of towns have shops that do printing on anything, you can just take stuff in and a design on a disc or paper, and they'll print it.

WoW dude, just checked out your home page, there is some really cool stuff on there, I liked the Cybugs and all the mechs as well. Is it just a hobby or do you do this as your job? Id love to get a CD cover like some of the stuff on here, do you do that sort of thing?
