i heard this from a freind of a freind of mine^
using wma and mp3 in the sampler is a cool idea,
there are some sites that only give samples in mp3
format. until now i needed to convert them into wav.
some time before christmas they say FL5 will be out!
all i can say is w00t 
)

that would be dope if 5 came out...i just got 4.50 producer edition...and i downlaoded a bunch of samples...its super dope...i love the pogo effects...but i want some good vst's but i dont know what to get...i want trilogy and atmosphere but i dont want to sepnd 300$ on them both...pssst...too much for a bunch of samples...anyway...big ups to that...i love FL 4...im still leaning a bit...but my next track will have been made using FL 4..keep an eye out...

just upgraded. man fl studio 5 kicks ass all over the place. looks like cubase is just gonna be holding on by their stienberg vst rights.

big fan of fruity 5 is amazing, i been using fruity since fruity 3. mp3 is good, and with a good collection of VST's fruity loops can be devastating.
for drum and bass, you can slice and dice beats up in a heart beat, with the new slicer.
and granulizaer is amazing. that pimped out. strech for ALL sounds now, keeps the orignal pitch and strechs lengeth or keep the pitch and strech the sound. good and flexability, and a much improved sound clip setup. using the sound streching and stuff. just cut up the sound clip and set the points, and it can strech all the sound to be perfetly in time.

oh and with fruity, there's a russian (.ru) GALAXY for FRUITYLOOPS with mixes.
a MIXGALAXY FRUITYLOOPS where you can google over the software they have found.
which is a lot
it's like on CRACK.

I seem to have a little problem when opening old (FL4.5) flp files in FL5. It's like the speed doubled or something. Anyone else had this problem yet?

yea it's because you incresase the beats to 8. i have the same problem. it's actually how it should have been from the start. it gives more beats and easyer to see on screen but it should be twice as fast.
just right click on the tempo and then Twice Slower.

i use fruity as well...and become extremely fluent with it...i would upgrade to reason and ableton, but i dont have the time to sit and learn...
