Nice crisp sounding drums. A bit too crisp actually. I now it's tempting to turn up the treble a lot. I usually turn it down until it sound crappy and then slowly turn it up until it sounds good enough. I know it might appear to sound better if I turn it up further, but usually that ends up being too much.

Another EQ thing: turn up the high mids on your bass a bit. They way they are EQed now you hear mostly sub. If this where played at a party, people would only hear the sub.

Your vocal sample is completely out of tune with the rest of the track, which annoyed me. Change the melody or your synths or pitch shift the vocal Smile

You clearly need to add more elements than this. The intro is clearly too empty, and your track starts running out of steam by the 2min mark, due to lack of variety.

Hope that helps

Thx a lot for the response!
I have just been messing around a bit without really knowing what I'm doing.
The sample I just put in there because I thought a vocal would be nice.
Didnt proces it at all.
I like making music, but its a disappointment to see that I just dont really understand it.
It makes me feel like math class back in school.
Either u get it or u don't...
Seems like I don't.
Maybe I lack the basics . People give me much tips , but most times I dont know what they are talking about. Smile
Thx for the tips although to me they need a translation to something i understand. Smile

Big up for your reaction Mr Robot!
Much appreciated!

Oh, making music is something that goes better with experience, so just keep at it, and practice at listening to what you are making, not to what you think you are making. That can be 2 very different things!

Now this is something I do understand! Smile
Its true that most times I hear what I want to hear but not what is really there.
One thing I would really like to know is how you can make ur bass sound 'alive'.
A bit of a rollling bass.
Don 't know the techniques that are used to do this.
Is it really all layering and filters?

Thx in advance!

Some pointers: play with filters and EQ before you pass through the distortion unit, as different filtering or EQing will affect the way the distortion sounds.

and yet again something i understand.
problem is with tutorials you find on youtube, etc , I always get the feeling that
I'm copying someone s work or sound.
Not what I'm aiming for.
So thx again mr. Surya.
If u got some more of these helpful tips & tricks do not
hesitate to post them.
I'm eager to learn. Smile (thought that these words would never come out of my mouth after
the high school fiasco)

Thx!
