love the vocals with the piano. t he drop just kidna happens with no anticipation. I think it needs some growly bass underneath the highs. When it switches to the normal time beat. It's out of nowhere like the drop. maybe a pause for a beat or 2 then drop the beat. The transition to the breakdown is the same, just happens. My favorite part is around 1:50. Definately powerfull when it kicks in. Overall definate stomper just needs some transition work. Oh and at 2:12 .. awesome i love it .. that little pause.

vocals fit great. it would leave the track to drumnbass thou, sounds just better
drums sounds clear, but for my taste theres a little too much sidechaining on the bass/pad-stuff. apart from that its a smasher, i can really feel it. rspct for a great work!

The sidechaining does bother quite a lot, please turn it down. Just turn those synths/basses down a bit and you'll be fine without the pumping effect.
Snare needs a tad more hi-end, it sounds muffled.

Your mix is pumping as hell which is popular in some house styles, but not in DnB.
I normally sidechain the sub to the kick and I use a short release and a minimal compression to give the kick that bit of extra space it needs.
When needed I also sidechain the snare to the mid bass with a slightly longer release.
Actually I don't like sidechaining in it's normal form: I use Fruity peak controller on the kick/snare mostly, I link a slider from the basic EQ of the mixerbus that contains the sub/midbass to the peak controller. That way I have total control over the frequency, range, amount and length of time to dip the bass.
It is hardly audible in the mix, I mean you can't hear the bass being taken down but the drum will benefit from it clearly.

Tune is cool. Like the bass progression. Very Brookes Brothers ish on first listen. The vocal is cool also. Would maybe sub up the mid-bass sections during the drumstep parts so the whole bass is ascending and descending in a really fat way as at the moment its missing a lot of low body. Cool idea. Well done.

Hey dude, dope track!
I am really digging the vocals in the intro.
Nice progressive beat in the DnB section, and in the breakdown very nice arpeggiated synth.
If i were to give you some constructive criticism:
- As you mention yourself, the sidechaining is overcompressing a lot. This kinda holds back the drive in the song. Easy thing to fix though, so should be easy to follow up on.
- on more thing i noticed is the lack of transitions between the halftempo dub'ish beat and the breakbeat. Add in a powerful drop at some place to follow the great powerful bassline
This is not coming from a pro, but from a listener with years of listening expereience in the genre.
Overall, a very good track and i caught myself moving to it.
Good luck!

Really like the quality of the tune. My only beef is the synths are a little too loud. Cheers. Z
