hey, I'm planning to make a mix CD really soon but I need some help!
1. I am going to record my mix onto Cubase and cut n' save the recorded sound into different tracks for each tune, but what do I do to get it on CD/iTunes?
2. I made some artwork on Microsoft Paint [fuckin' pain in the ass
] but the pictures wouldn't fit a CD case. Any ideas as to (preferably free) programmes that will help me to get it to work out?
THANK YOU!!!
to be on topic. nero is the best thing. although is not free you got cover editor, sound editor, other stuff, and a lot of features when writing cds or dvds.
i think windows xp has a writing disk feature. you just drag and drop the files into you cd window and a button 'write these files on cd' appears. never used it so i don't know if it makes audio, or just data disks. do try it.
oh yeah i never thought about it but windows media player has an audio cd burner tool.
also i googled for you a free cover editor . see how it works

have you got itunes?
if so
make a playlist with the songs you want to burn
than go to the lower right corner and press Burn Disc.
I think this burns a cd, never tried it though:$
and for the picture thing, there are ways to get like photoshop for free with crack etc. and I guess they should have a tool that makes your picture bigger or smaller without fucking up your quality like paint does lol

well, I'm not loling when it doesn't work. haha
haha you shouldnt, but when my dad comes by tomorrow I will ask him what he used to burn cd's (he made 3000+ cd's with shitty movies on them and games and music etc.)
if i don't forget that is
depends in what for mood I am.
-neurofuck I always like.
-darkstep for when I'm mad or just hyperactive
-reggae styled dnb for when I wanna relax / wake up, or just feel like it
-now idk if it's called liquid funk, but those what I call loungy dnb, those songs that hit 99% on this site by binary havoc those are quite loungy, I like that too. same reasons as reggae
- now that really darkish darkstep nearing hardcore, is for when I wanna party lol
and than we got dubstep lol, also becoming a big thing in my music collection.
love them excision / rusko / datsik basses make me feel soo fucking good rofl
first I listend to hiphop mostly.
hiphop where rappers rapt about drugs cars money and bitches, fun stuff to use as voice samples for dark shit
but now usually listen to hiphop with funk beats and lyrics that have contents rofl
and than we got hardcore and hardstyle for when I want something diffrent, but get bored fast of this cause of the UNTS UNTS, gimme a amen and I'm fine lol
