I do love some oldskool stuff: Source Direct, Photek,... almost anything on Metalheadz. I love drumfunk and DnB that has some dark jazz influences.
I also like Commix, Alix Perez, Icicle and Calibre for inspiration, their tunes have a unique sound which can't be said about the Nu Jump Up bizz which sounds all alike.

Thanks for your reply! Have you heard of 'Basic Unit'? They do interesting songs; see 'Basic Unit - Scorpion' on YouTube and see what you think.
Is Metalheadz part of a record company? (I'm thinking of Moving Shadow)

hmmm i got loads for the jump up biz id have to say pleasure n the brum sound... hazard, e.s etc .... jungle would have to be remarc, general malice and especially debaser and with producing alot of ragga jungle i take alot of insperation from the ragga side like supercat junior cat, poison chang, buju banton etc
