Propellerheads Record is now out and seeing as it looks like it auntie PATrica won't be getting it for me I'll have to buy a copy.

But I have been watching a lot of Miami ink lately and I really want a tattoo done.

Its going to have to be one or the other I think.

grr can't choose!!!

I want to get a Koi carp on my calf,

much like the one below

Not only do I think they look awesome but I really like the meaning behind the Koi carp in Japanese symbolism.

the meaning of which can be found HERE

The part of it that holds the most prevalence to me are where it states:

'In tattoo imagery, especially in combination with flowing water, it symbolizes much the same: courage, the ability to attain high goals, and overcoming life's difficulties.'

I want it to be a symbol of all I have achieved through getting back into education, coming through college and then university to now where I have my degree.

Also it states that in the mythology that 'any koi that succeeded in climbing the falls at a point called Dragon Gate (on the Yellow River) would be transformed into a dragon.

So once I get my foot firmly into the world of audio engineering and I have a career in it I will then get a Japanese Dragon tattoo.

as you can see I've thought about it a lot. Im not just some idiot jumping on the bandwagon and getting something real cliché like a star tattoo for the sake of it Big Grin

Well i do have pro-tools.

But still stuggling to find a good work flow with it in regards to making dnb sadly.

So i still rock reason for the beat making right now Big Grin

but i still use tools to master my tracks with better quality comps, eq and limiters Smile

I'm thinking I might go for the tat Drummer

get the tatto, as it holds a lot of thought and meaning.
(try and find a tattoo artist whose work you love (note love not like) and check out his/her other existing work).
just hold out for record im sure that auntie is baking something.
(she always drops a massive chrimbo pressie for her nieces and nephews).
