These monitors allow you to hear every detail with astonishing impact & clarity. |
my suggestion is, instead of buying 1 pair of BAD ASS speakers, get one good pair and another cheap one, that's the pro way. like 400 on nice near or mid field speakers and 100 on some nice little ones. it's good if you live with others, you can use the small ones at night time as well....
i have only been talking about it recently, is because I have been looking for speakers myself, and this was the advice i got for building studios..... it's a common trap amatures get stuck in getting one pair of speakers...
look at ANY studio pic, it's small speakers on smaller ones, or beside ones. it's normal...

ns10's are reknowned for being bass light,

I bought them before reading the last few posts... I mean, I intend to keep them until they simply wear out after however many years
Should be here tomorrow

Sucks though, its restricting how easy it is for me to get cables, the A7s only have xlr and phono, my soundcard has jack and phono, but the phono is unbalanced so I'm having trouble finding balanced XLR to Jack >.<
Yeah I hear lots about the NS10s... I don't think I could mix flat on them without a lot of practice though... i intend to listen to music on the A7s as well so an ns10 frew response wouldn't be up to the job for me :p

Aye but I'd rather spend a little more than 4 quid on cable
