on a sidenote, Ive seen cars with locks on hoods, practically you drill a hole on the hood and the side of the car and put a lock on it.
it makes your car very unatractive though

Hehe, ok, then get a switch that you can control remotely that makes or breaks contact with the hood - if you have keys that can open your car remotely then get the central locking system to control the hood-electrocution-switch
