Best CD Deck on a budget? |
|
Right, basicly, Ive been asked to dj at a couple of friends party's, but there is no way that I am taking my 1210's. This is because I'm worried that the decks or vinyls could get damaged.
I had already planned to purchase a pair of Pioneer CDJ 1000 mk3's, however these would take ages to be able to buy.
So what Im after is a pair of CD decks that can play mp3 and are not too expensive.
This is the best one Ive seen... Any recomendations?

do you want tabletop players or a double rack cd player?
I see here a stanton C501 double player costs just a bit less than a single numark axis9 (http://www.keymusic.be/products.asp?dptid=8&dptd=69)
So if you really want something with a tight budget, you could consider a double player.

Different brand, same oem manufacturer? And as far as the pictures are reliable, the amercan audio has a vfd display, while the citronic has an lcd. VFD is usually brighter/ easier to read in the dark.
Also the sizes ar somewhat different.
the american audio has switchable 100/220V input, while the citronics doesn't. Might be something to keep in mind if you want to travel abroad wit them.
Just read the specs on the links you gave. From what I see the american audio has a bit more possibilities (allthough probably ones you will never use such as fader start), and comes at a lower price, so choice between those two i think is easy.
