Love it, the first part is great, a bit like Aphex twin. After 3 min your sweet melodie is gone, you can minimize your track 2 the first part, then you have just enough for a radio edit Pleased

Starts out really nice relaxing, but not really DnB Big Grin

but I like this part.
Your buildup is good too, but I don't like the 4-4 kick (I never like that in DnB)
I like the darker part too, but it's a strange combination.
You overuse the vocals a bit too much. That gets tiering after a while...
Intresting work, but I wouldn't really call it DnB, it's closer to the Drill'n'Bass style.

well the whole point was actually to make a "weird" remix of a friend's song ...

thinking of doing a dnb only mix ...
since i start with like "rnb style" then progress into something more electro .. then finally hit a more dnb'ish rhythm until hitting the big bassline ..
with a 4/4 digital hardcore beat and some dnb'ish snares ...
if this track was a person, it'd be callled a gender-bender Big Grin

This song is completely insane Big Grin

I kind of like this, but I don't think anyone would consider releasing it, it's just too weird for the masses and it lacks the ingenuity that gives Aphex Twin its class.

I suppose you had a lot of fun making it Big Grin

I don't know if I should give any comments since it's such a personal style, but anyway:
- I agree with Surya on the vocals, I would cut out some parts because it's really too much
- I would change the hand clap for a different sound, it doesn't really fit the track IMO, it would be better to use some weird sound instead of it
- That noise pad is really original Big Grin

Makes people think there's something wrong with their amplifier Big Grin

- Maybe do more extreme filtering on more elements like you're doing on the vocals near the end
