Barrington Levy Big Grin

To authorize a sample you have to contact the record label which released the track you have sampled from and get a written permission from them.
I guess that many record labels will not be too fussy on giving you a permission when you have taken a very short sample and are not making any profit from it (ie when you upload it somewhere for free download). You will have to credit the sample probably.

If you can't get a permission, you will have to find a way around the copyright, usually by finding a friendly Jamaican in your neighbourhood, offering him a big spliff and having him say 'gonja' in Barrington Levy style Big Grin
