Thread: Dnb drums |

that drum roll between the two snares is just:
hi hat - ghost snare - hi hat - ghost snare
ghost snare is a really quiet, fast decay snare

Thread: [dubstep] Need mixing advice... |
|
Im working with headphones and mediocre logitech speakers (no sub), naturally this has lead to extreme frustration. I'd be rather pleased if you criticized my mixing techniques n' whatever, because I'm completely in the dark. I feel like there's some nasty upper mid resonance in there but I cannot pinpoint it.

All the various synths' saw waves and various waves and built in fx like flange or distortion or their filters usually sound different

Thread: Most intense/Exciting DnB track? |
|
this is probably the wrong section for this, but I was curious what you guys think is the most exciting, adrenaline rushing, michael bay intensity drum and bass song ever made. I vote either noisia's exodus or the tide, but I feel like they are the tip of the iceberg, and there are so many other intense tracks that I dont know about. again, sorry iif this is the wrong section

I think its kickass, incredibly kick ass actually. Such creative sound design dude and awesome percussion. Just put an eq under the bass distortion and drop the 200hz region and then boost it after distortion, id say

I like it alot, only problems i have with it is that the drums need be fatter/punchier, and maybe some atmospherical reverby clashing in the background would sound good
