Thank you all! Big Grin

Sub is really the thing im not too happy about. bit too much of it and sounds a little off in places.
all the is really is sustained notes and a silent 4/4 kick sidechaned into it

Stilll needs finishing off really. the bit im worst at doing Frown

Liking the beat, reminds me of some Jonny L
although the 'snare' is perhapps to loud in the mix.

not quite sure how i feel about this lol Big Grin
I want to not like it but now its rolling im grooving Drummer
yeah man percussion that just came in is sweet.

would drop that lfo that comes in on the bass, cheapens it by being a little too obvious? if that makes sense.

yeah man sweet tune now i've listen all the way though. Always chopping and changing Big Grin

wish i got selected for beta testing Frown

There is some strange over-compression going on, sounds like it all ducks a little during some of the bass notes.

like the vibes and style though. very old skool although some of the spot fx are too loud/prominent imo

Really never been a fan of this drum/tune style so finding it hard to think of much to say.

BUt perhaps you could add more variation to the rolls?, just some minor volume/tone changes with velocity or such

other than that sounds good Big Grin

Liking the vibes from the off....
don't like those fast stabby sounds so much...
beats filters in nicely.
the drop feels a little disjointed imo but I really like the way things fit together musically.

really like the rougher bass at 3.28. rawspy

Overall this is great, the vibe and such is there its more in the execution but that's where experience and practice get you.

Just be happy that you can finish tracks....I can't!

Not bad....

Personally the vocal is a little over the place. sometimes it seems loud and sometimes its too quiet.
You need to go in deep and automate the volume on a per-syllable basis.

Like that track though, like the roll out section and the little plonky synth.

oh and i think the snare could do with a more 'real' sounding snare layer

but overal nice work imo Drummer

Everything sounding nice from the off.....

Heavy build-up.....nice drop.

reckon that bass is swallowing up the beat. the beat could do with being a bit more stereo or the bass could do with pulling in and notching down.
Perhaps sidechain the snare/kick to the main big reecey bass to help them poke through

Mono compatibility isnt great.

Apart from that its a banger! Drummer

Please check out my new track 'Spark Out Ft Volatile' and post your comments here!

Been a while since I uploaded anything so thought i'd up this.
This started life as a track me and a friend was making for a cage fighter (hence the still very short intro)

Any/all critique welcome

yeah boi!

looking forward to having that mixer in reason.
Played with it while beta testing for record and it sounds sweet.

trouble is, if they have the same protection system for v6.0 as they do record then i doubt it'll ever be available for those that like crack

This...along with automating the both of those parameters works nicely. Opening up the 'verb's decay to pick out notes etc.

Forget about mastering for the time being.

It is the pitfall of all aspiring produces that they need to be great at mastering from the off.
Save that for people who know how.

You should concentrait on composition and how to get it sounding good just with the mix alone.

Then once you can do that, then worry about mastering, or if you've been signed because you write good music someone else will do it for you Tongue
