reggae vocals

Age Break
heyy guys, I hope this is the right section for this.
but does any one have reggae vocals / a capella's for me, or links to sites where this is downloadable
I want to make a track that's summer vibey, and reggea stylish dnb makes me wanna go outdoors in summer and have some smokes, but anyways, hope any can help me out with thisSmile (this track will be on the site in the summer ofc.)

(yes I tried searching on google, all the sites claim they're free but they aren't and when your 14 years old you don't wanna spend your money on sample packs.)

thanks in advanceBig Grin

I have some raggae samples in a refill. they are mc kinda stuff. are you intrested? if so i'll post a big wav tommorow with all that i have and you'll slice and dice em. you'll have to do some warping though to make them beatmatch. awaiting your answer...
Age Break

either that or cut your own acapellas by getting a copy of the vocal you want and finding the riddim it is being played with. Put the tune (riddim + vocal) into one track, and the riddim into a second track. make sure that both of the tracks are alligned with each other and invert them.

or even better, get saving n get a dubplate voiced fella in usa i know can get a huge variety of artists... this week available artists was:

im downloading those samples now, cheers. love ragga flava dnb

when you say finding the riddim how do you mean? say if i had a reggae tune playing and only wanted the vocal, how would you do that, how do you find the riddim?
Age Break
first just try if the sample fits if it doens't so it total sounds out of place cause it's to fast or to slow
stretch its for example
KILLER_FAN
hey age doesn't fruity have something like warper? could use ableton or cubase for stretching and placing vocals on beat.
BattleDrone
The FL sampler has time stretch built in.
As for finding the tempo of a vocal, trial and error still is the easiest way.

If you have longer pieces of vocal you should cut them up and position the individual pieces for greater accuracy and it will allow you to play around with the order of the words, introduce stutter, echo (play it again, but not so loud), change the cut-off and the level for individual words, use a part of a word,...
The easiest way to solve all this is to ReCycle it (slice it manually) and load the recycled sample into the Fruity slicer. That way you have your entire vocal in a grid and you can mangle it like a breakbeat.
Age Break
you can just stretch in the clip section of playlist this works just fineSmile

the riddim is the tune that the vocalist is singing/chatting over e.g. gangsta riddim, hard times riddim etc
