samples lost in ableton

Hi

First off thnx for the awsome help I´ve been able to get from this site!
(really like some off the tunes posted aswell)

nway I'am using ableton which I really like atm. but sometimes when I made a set and load it back in samples seem to dissapear for no reason (pretty devastating when u are working on a track for 4 days and half of it is suddenly nowere to be found..). I've googled it and found more people with the same problem though not a clear solution, yet.

was wondering if any of u guys know the solution or have the same problems.

menu: "file" + "collect all and save"
puts stuff in a seperate directory

"collect n save" after every session,
lesson well learnt.

collect all and save after every set if you are using external samples. Click on the orange tab at the bottom whrer it says samples are missing. Plug your drive in and select the folder where u pulled the sounds from. You can collect and save from all the projects you have from this option also.
