Ive made some fast sounding basslines in the past, but I was wondering if anyone had tips on the best way to do it. Is it just when you get a bassline that sounds crazy fast with the break, you got lucky? Or is there some strategy to it.

Because its hard if you do resampling, you cant go back in time to change a filter automaton that was 2-3 samples earlier...
any strategies for doing this?
Also tips possibly on the use of slicex with basslines would be nice... Thanks
