Said it wasn't a valid MP3. Tried twice. It was a ABR 192 track. Tried again with an CBR 128, but again the same problem.

Upload the track to your FTP folder so I can check it out!!
Which MP3 encoder did you use?
Best is to use LAME, that should work!!

Is it solved now? I changed the code a couple of weeks ago. Should work now...
Surya
Last time it worked yes, but I still have to do it in IE, coz Firefox still doesnea work.

Firefox still has a lot of problems with uploading and downloading. I was able to make a workaround for the download filenames problem, but the uploading I can't fix since Firefox simply doesn't supply the MIME types...
Hope it's not too much trouble having to resort to Internet Explorer for uploading...
BTW I also use firefox all the time, hopefully this gets fixed in a new version!!
Surya
np at all, I still got it somewhere

New problem: after uploading the track I just upped, I got a message in IE that there was an "error connecting to server"...
When I checked in Mozilla, I saw the track was uploaded correctly and the tread was created succesfully too.
So the "multiple uploads" of recently way be due to this problem. People thinking it failed, pressing the back button, and uploading again or smth like that...

Update: this has been fixed for Firefox and Mac IE for some time now.
